Komorebi

The installation interprets the Japanese philosophy of Komorebi, which paints the image of light between the leaves of trees. A concept that expresses the beauty of impermanence, stimulates a deep connection with the present, and celebrates the harmonious relationship with nature and living here and now.

The aim is to bring this concept into everyday environments, developing the project on two complementary dimensions. On the one hand, with the analysis of sunlight to recreate its delicate natural effect; on the other, with a structure composed of symbolic leaves, made with cold metal casting techniques. This approach generates a play of shadows, bright reflections and warm metallic tones on the gold and copper leaves, providing a constant alternation of vibrant shades.
